Having fun dtra? ok... time for some "real" news. FYF is back and its all written in ASP.NET. You might notice a few missing areas, probably pretty much all areas. But at least footy tipping is ready to go! Most of the other stuff is coming. Reporting and the results pages are pretty much done (not that we use them any more anyway), just need to fix a few things up. That is all.

yeah, i have more of a collection of lenses going, than photos, but anyway, now that i have "completed" my kit (i keep saying that), i will concentrate on taking better pictures. more info at dtraCorp. the latest addition, the pentax da21 f/3.2 limited edition wide angle, it's a prime, all-metal, higher grade lens. so it wasn't cheap, but it does feel good, and i hope that it takes some real nice pictures. that's all for now, just working and waiting for the mexico holiday. david tran (aka dtra)

well, not really, it's just a new host, i've moved to dreamhost, and i just wanted to promote that fact, david tran's web site, dtraCorp has moved (sort of), and another site, trandavid.net (home of david tran, has also popped up. thanks for letting me link to my site from here alf :p

google's image search anyway, the image must be linked from an external site, checking the previous post i did, where i linked to a couple pics on my site, google has now indexed them, and they're pretty much all they have indexed from my site. so, by linking to the following, which are awesome pics, i might say, i should improve on my current small number of images... dtra (david tran) at nevis highwire bungy homestead bay bowen falls queenstown by moon light queenstown and the remarkables in the evening kawarau jet boat if you want any links back on dtraCorp, you are more than welcome to ask, and i will see what i can do... muwahahahahahah... also, flickr can kiss my ass, cos i've found a way to get my pics sharper on dtraCorp, i also took the stupid watermark out, and am leaving the original full size pic on the site without any resizing or touch ups, can't believe i didn't think of this sooner, if you review my new zealand galleries again, you should see some extra sharpness (to the point of over-sharpening :D).

the news item on dtraCorp, just wanted to post this, it's all about my new lens :D, and also test something out, i'm now thinking, images don't get indexed by google or yahoo, unless they are linked to, from a different site. so here goes... don't worry alf, this site is dead anyway :p taps phnom penh sunset mt. difficult in the grampians
